Sheena and Jason were married at the beginning of November at Potters Receptions in Warrandyte, the gateway to the Yarra Valley!
They live just around the corner from me on the Peninsula but fell in love with Potters on a visit when choosing venues. It’s been a while since I shot up there but I was amazed at all the improvements they have done in the last few years! The venue has more than enough locations for photos but if you do want to go offsite the river behind the shops in town is a really pretty spot. We didn’t quite have enough time for an off-site visit so as the guests enjoyed drinks and canapes on the terrace we made full use of the grounds for the bridal party photos.
The ceremony was full of emotion and even their pastor who is a family friend had to take a few moments as Sheena and Jason said their vows. Afterwards we headed over to the lawns for group and family photos.
Sheena and Jason’s bridal party were such fun, in fact it was hard to get the guys to stay still for a moment to get a sensible photo and of course I had to capture their much prized dinosaur socks!
After the photoshoot the guests were seated ready for the reception and Sheena and Jason came in to cut the cake. After a couple more photos I slipped out and they enjoyed the rest of their evening with family and friends.
Here’s a selection from their special day and congratulations to Sheena and Jason and I wish you many happy years ahead!
